It’s all in the details

All commissioned art begins with high quality reference photos. Providing me with a high quality reference photo can make all the difference between a good piece of art and a GREAT piece of art. The better a reference photo is, the better the details will be in your art piece.

COMMISSIONS FAQs

  • It all begins with an idea and an inquiry. Maybe my art prints speak to you but what you’re really interested in is something that is uniquely yours. The commission process begins with reaching out and connecting with me to discuss your vision. Whether you are looking for a personal portrait or a unique piece of Healing Art for your home or office, I will work with you to create your one of a kind special piece. • Custom Artwork is unique and each person’s vision is individual. Timelines will depend on the size, the details and the complexity of a piece. Realistic drawings take time and patience and can take anywhere between 30 - 100+ hours to complete. Once we discuss what you are looking for, I can offer up an estimated timeline that is needed to bring your vision to life.

  • Please note that Custom Artwork is a unique investment of time and energy and prices can vary depending on several factors:

    • Size of Artwork

    • Level of detail

    • Black & White vs. Colour

    • Pencil vs. Digital vs. Combination of Both

    • Complexity of the Subject

Pricing is determined during the consultation phase of our communications.

  • Unfortunately, I do not offer framing at this time. I prefer to give you the freedom to choose the frame that best suits your personal style and décor. In addition to this, I do not wish to place an added expense burden on you for the cost of framing and the additional shipping charges that would be incurred as a result of framing.

  • After we’ve had our discussions about what you are looking for and you are ready to proceed with the creative process, you have a choice to either pay in full or send a deposit of 25% of the total agreed upon cost and the remaining balance will be due in full upon completion of the artwork. All payments can be made via PayPal or Credit Card (with the exception of Custom Art and Personalized Prints which will be paid via E-transfer).
